Days before Ingrid Andress’ national TV debut of “elegantly written” (New York Times) country radio single “More Hearts Than Mine” on TODAY (WATCH HERE),People magazine shared a stunning, stripped-down version that features GRAMMY-winning group Little Big Town (WATCH HERE). The group’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman added their signature harmonies to the personal ballad Andress wrote alongside Sam Ellis and Derrick Southerland. As the most-added song at country radio upon impact, it sits inside the Top 10 on SiriusXM’s The Highway as it already approaches 10 million on-demand streams.

“You can just tell when someone’s authentic and genuine, and she’s a very, very gifted writer and has a beautiful voice,” Fairchild shared with People. “She’s just the real deal. That’s why we handpicked her. It’s because we just really believe in her.”

In addition to recognition from country music greats, Andress and “More Hearts Than Mine” are winning praise from critics and fans alike. Applauded in this month’s issue of HITS magazine for its “honesty and vulnerability virtually absent on Country radio," Billboard also recently praised the track for the way it “honors a country tradition while expanding it” (READ HERE). Rolling Stone agrees that it showcases “the universal truths rooted in the country-music tradition” witch PAPER continuing the sentiment noting the way her music showcases “country’s swagger and cinematic storytelling… [and through] lyrical specificity, moments of self-critical vulnerability and raw vocal gravity makes the genre’s well-worn motifs sound fresh.”

The Colorado-native was also just announced as part of this year’s Watershed Festival lineup, performing on the Next From Nashville stage August 2 before joining her powerful female peers on the CMA Songwriters Series presented by U.S. Bank in Phoenix, AZ on August 2. Having just performed for the very first time overseas at this year’s C2C Festival in March, Andress also recently announced that she’s already been invited back, returning to Europe this fall for her own headlining run. She’ll make multiple stops in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom beginning September 16. With Essex-born singer/songwriter Mabes joining Andress’ UK dates, tickets for all performances are available now for pre-sale and to the general public on Friday (PURCHASE HERE).

ABOUT INGRID ANDRESS

"A country pop rookie who can write a chorus like Sia," (PAPER), Ingrid Andress consistently chips away at expectations of herself and her sound. With several co-writer credits to her name, including Charli XCX’s “Boys” and FLETCHER’s latest release “About You,” Andress first honed her skills writing with heavy hitters in the music community such as Sam Hunt and Alicia Keys. Since signing with Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville in 2018, she’s already made national TV performances on Late Night with Seth Meyers and TODAY. She will continue to release new music that proves her to be one of the most unique and moving vocalists in the country space and beyond; one that is thrillingly honest, raw and refreshing in a way rarely seen emanating from Music City.
