Tune In: Andress to Debut “More Hearts Than Mine” on TODAY Tomorrow (7/18)
She made her overseas debut at this year’s C2C Festival in March, and today breakout singer / songwriter Ingrid Andress announces her return to Europe this fall for her own headlining run. The critically acclaimed Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville recording artist will make multiple stops in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom beginning September 16. With Essex-born singer/songwriter Mabes joining Andress’ UK dates, tickets for all performances are available now for pre-sale and to the general public on Friday (PURCHASE HERE).
Andress, who began making waves in the music community at home and abroad with the release of her first major label song “Lady Like” in February, is now hitting hard at country radio. Her flagship single “More Hearts Than Mine” was most-added upon impact. It sits inside the Top 10 on SiriusXM’s The Highway as it already approaches 10 million on-demand streams.
Following her television debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers earlier this year, Andress will mark another milestone with a performance of “More Hearts” on NBC’s TODAY this Thursday, July 18 in the 10:00 a.m. hour. Next month she will join her powerful female peers on the just-announced CMA Songwriters Series presented by U.S. Bank in Phoenix, AZ at Mesa Arts Center’s Piper Theater on August 21 (tickets on sale this Friday, purchase link HERE).
In addition to recognition from country music greats, Andress and “More Hearts Than Mine” are winning praise from critics and fans alike. Co-written with Sam Ellis and Derrick Southerland, the “elegantly written song about a love that lets you down” (New York Times) was applauded in this month’s issue of HITS magazine for its “honesty and vulnerability virtually absent on Country radio." Amazon featured the deeply personal track on “The Weekly One,” which “highlights one amazing song each week from an emerging artist,” alongside placement on an additional seven playlists and 13 stations. Check out the official music video for the “heart-wrenching piano ballad” (Billboard) HERE.
The Line of Best Fit described Andress’ music as “[taking] its cues as much from contemporaries like Maggie Rogers and Caitlyn Smith as it does Dolly Parton,” with Rolling Stone agreeing that it showcases “the universal truths rooted in the country-music tradition.” With “country’s swagger and cinematic storytelling,” the up-and-coming star’s “lyrical specificity, moments of self-critical vulnerability and raw vocal gravity makes the genre’s well-worn motifs sound fresh” (PAPER).

ABOUT INGRID ANDRESS
"A country pop rookie who can write a chorus like Sia," (PAPER), Ingrid Andress continues to chip away at expectations of herself and her sound. With several co-writer credits to her name, including Charli XCX’s “Boys” and FLETCHER’s latest release “About You,” Andress first honed her skills writing with heavy hitters in the music community such as Sam Hunt and Alicia Keys. Since signing with Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville, she has continued to release new music that proves her to be one of the most unique and moving vocalists in the country space and beyond; one that is thrillingly honest, raw and refreshing in a way rarely seen emanating from Music City.
