Performing This Week’s Most-Added New Single at Country Radio “More Hearts Than Mine”

Having already made her late night debut earlier this year on Late Night With Seth MeyersAtlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville recording artist Ingrid Andress is set for another first this month. The critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter will perform her debut single “More Hearts Than Mine” – the most-added new single at country radio this week – on NBC’s TODAY July 18.

Co-written with Sam Ellis and Derrick Southerland, the “elegantly written song about a love that lets you down,” (New York Times) has already surpassed five million on-demand streams and was praised in this month’s issue of HITS magazine for its “honesty and vulnerability virtually absent on Country radio." Amazon is currently featuring the deeply personal track on “The Weekly One,” which “highlights one amazing song each week from an emerging artist,” alongside placement on an additional seven playlists and 13 stations.

With a music video premiere on both Billboard and CMT and a new vertical video on Spotify’s New Boots playlist, the single prompted MusicRow to declare: “this woman has talent in spades.” Andress’ Live in the Vineyard performance of the “heart-wrenching piano ballad” (Billboard) earlier this year was noted by Sounds Like Nashville to have “left many broken hearts,” lauding the singer/songwriter as “a star in the making.” Included as one The Boot’s “5 New Songs You Need To Hear,” Whiskey Riff advised its readers that if “you want to write songs…this is how it’s done…country music needs more of this.”

CMT has praised their Next Women of Country inductee for having “an honest and fresh way to tell stories about life and love” withTaste of Country including her as one of their “5 Artists to Watch,” explaining that “all it takes is seeing one performance to know that Ingrid Andress is pure talent. An equally captivating vocalist and songwriter, she has a distinct talent for blending humor and emotion. She’ll gently break your heart with ‘More Hearts Than Mine.’”

ABOUT INGRID ANDRESS

"A country pop rookie who can write a chorus like Sia," (PAPER), Ingrid Andress continues to chip away at expectations of herself and her sound. With several co-writer credits to her name, including Charli XCX’s “Boys” and FLETCHER’s latest release “About You,” Andress first honed her skills writing with heavy hitters in the music community such as Sam Hunt and Alicia Keys. Since signing with Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville, she has continued to release new music that proves her to be one of the most unique and moving vocalists in the country space and beyond; one that is thrillingly honest, raw and refreshing in a way rarely seen emanating from Music City.
