Critical praise is already pouring in for Lady Like, which was entirely co-produced and co-written by Andress herself. The emotional music video for one of the album’s brand-new songs, “The Stranger,” made its digital premiere today with Teen Vogue (WATCH HERE) and its broadcast premiere on CMT, CMT Music and their ViacomCBS billboard in Times Square. Billboard shared a detailed track by track of the “evocative” album (READ HERE), with American Songwriter praising the way she “completely upends the Nashville establishment (READ HERE). One of the LP’s standouts is Gold-certified debut single “More Hearts Than Mine” which continues its climb to the top of the charts and is currently approachingTop 5. Andress recently stopped by the Genius offices to break down the poignant ballad line by line for the latest episode of Verified (WATCH HERE).

Earlier this month, Apple Music announced the singer/songwriter as the first female country artist named to their Up Next program. The monthly artist initiative geared towards identifying, showcasing and elevating rising talent has highlighted a vast roster of artists including Grammy-nominated and critically lauded talent like Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Khalid, Sigrid, Bazzi, Bad Bunny, Megan Thee Stallion, Victoria Monét and more.
